The Police Service of Northern Ireland is committed to investigating all homophobic hate crimes and incidents in a professional, confidential and sensitive manner. Homophobic crimes and incidents may take many different forms, for example assaults, damage to your home or other property, verbal abuse or hate mail against those perceived to be lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgendered.

To report a homophobic hate crime or incident telephone your local police by ringing 0845 600 8000, confidentially through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or by visiting www.psni.police.uk

Each police district also has a Hate Incident & Minority Liaison Officer. These officers have been specially trained to support victims of homophobic crimes and incidents. Your local Hate Incident & Minority Liaison Officer can be contacted as follows:
